My Hereditary Guarantee

  •  5 year Guarantee for Ragdoll Only HCM, (Once very common among some show cats pedigreed lines but now almost eliminated by 2018) (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), (early cardiac death ) For HCM genes discovered by DNA, currently tested through UC Davis.
  • 5 Year Guarantee Against Death caused by PKD (Very Rare) in Ragdolls (Poly-cystic Kidney Disease) discovered by DNA most likely attributed to early Persian out-crosses, currently tested through UC Davis.
  • 5 Year Guarantee For major health Issues related to Mucopolysaccharidosis VI. This can effect cats with mild issues, but some cats have had seizures, or neurological issues. DNA testing is available but the understanding of the results are unreliable at best.
  • 5 Year Guarantee For Very Rare Progressive Retinal Atrophy )  -(PRA) Vision loss progresses slowly and is variable, with most cats becoming blind by usually 3-5 years of age.2 different DNA tests are available, (+/+) is required to cause blindness.  Most common in early Abyssinian and Somali ragdoll out-crosses.
  • 2 year replacement related to death caused by FPI. May be mutation of gene (Non Hereditary), but some lines of cats have a higher incidence. This is void if there are any other cats in house hold at time or ever kenneled.

**hereditary Guarantee stipulations

  1. A Yearly physical must be done.
  2. Cause of condition must be confirmed by DNA before death. An expensive and disturbing post-postmortem exam would then not be required, except for the case of FIP, that can only be determined after death.
  3. Adults Cats must be raised on Royal Canin Cat food and given grain free wet food with NuVet Vitamins ( order only at Nuvet (click logo below) and sign up for automatic delivery). Please use my breeder code 2570782 as this records your purchase to my account, and I will be notified of any cancellations, that would void Health Guarantee. If you have any questions on how to use the vitamins please feel free to ask. 
  4. Cats should be a healthy weight.
  5. Cats cannot be declawed as this will void my contract.
  6. Guarantee only applies to original owner and a signed sales contract requested at the time of purchase must be signed and returned in person or email within 7 business days of adoption. An unsigned contract voids the sales contract.
  7. No monetary money will be refunded. A Replacement cat of similar price and acceptability will fulfill warranty.
  8. If Any time USARAGDOLLS Cats retires from breeding, this voids all future warranties.

Have your Ragdolls Been FELV/FIV  tested

Yes, every cat that I have purchased has tested negative for these. However, I Only guarantee against Felv/Fiv at time of purchase in the event the cat is exposed to other cats after adoption.
